WHO are you singing it to???????

The Lord has had me singing since I was three years old - music was my life - I had over 500 vinyl albums and when I got saved the Lord had me break them all and toss them in the trash. There wasn't a lyric I didn't know - a song I didn't sing. (mostly R&B and love songs). And do you know that the Lord STILL has had me sing some of those love songs to Him - playing them on the piano even He gave me new lyrics to make them just for Him - and this is the first I've seen ANYONE doing the same thing - and it touched me so that I wept....

Let me be perfectly clear - I do NOT listen to secular music anymore - am not advocating listening to worldly things - the POINT IS that before He found me, I knew these songs. AFTER He found me, all things could be AND WERE/ARE/WILL BE FOR HIM - and by HIS SPIRIT He would have me sing Him every love song....still do.

"Jesus, betcha by golly wow -You're the one that I've been waiting for, forever....and ever will my love for You...keep going strong....keep going strong..."

...and He would sing back to me, "You're once...twice...three times a lady....and I love you...."

The biggest sadness of this video is that they are singing current songs - which means they have not died to that - for the Bible says "Let everything that has breath PRAISE THE LORD" and while they ARE singing the songs unto the Lord, why do they know them to begin with (current ones)?

WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR?

It's one thing to sing songs unto the Lord that you knew BEFORE you met the Lord only after having allowed Holy Spirit to re-write them for His glory - it's another thing to be saved and CONTINUE to be part of all things in the world - listening to secular music as a CHRISTIAN should make you sick - once you meet Him you should be repulsed by all things worldly. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
