THE LORD'S WAYS ARE NOT OUR WAYS....

My son just called - 8:26 PM - to tell me that Patrick Swayze has died. Patrick was diagnosed in March of 2008 - and lived longer than doctors expected - but the Lord used me to speak life and keep Patrick ALIVE...long enough for Patrick to film 13 episodes of a television show and feel amazingly great - so much so that all involved with the production said he out-did them in all areas (energy, physically, etc). Long enough for Patrick himself to acknowledge somewhat shocked that "I'm a walking miracle - I don't understand why".

I pray, long enough for Patrick to find Jesus.

The Lord told me on Saturday that this was going to happen. He has pointed Patrick out to me in the past week, showing me Patrick healthy and strong, and spoke lovingly to me that his time was up - There was even a Swayze movie on television I'd never seen or even heard of on Saturday - the Lord told me to turn on the tv then and then told me about the dying of Patrick in the coming days.(the movie was also all about death although in it Patrick did not die) -

I kept checking the news online more often than usual because I knew I'd heard the Lord correctly - and I waited. It was especially strong...and I know that I hear Him.

ALL GLORY HONOR AND PRAISE to the Lord for truly Patrick living this long was GOD'S MIRACLE -

But it is also a testament to the fact that we cannot continually speak death and expect to live - and Patrick spoke death more than he spoke life.

I pray that he received the Lord before his last breath...there is always an opportunity for salvation until our very last breath - I know that the words of the Lord are not in vain - I also know that God would not have had me intercede for this man for all these months for nothing.

Father I thank You for the opportunity to be used in the lives of those of Your children as You see fit....

"My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul." (Job 10:1)

  1. ISAIAH 55:6-13:

6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

12For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

13Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

  3. truly not glorying in any man after the flesh - the Lord has had me interceding for this man 19 MONTHS - to intercede is to TAKE UPON ONESELF the trials and infirmaties of another- this was a battle - and I am grieved

  4. “If you were to look at statistics — the prognosis that is given to most patients with metastatic cancer is usually three to six months,” Dr. Jeffrey Hardacre, assistant professor of surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and attending surgeon at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, told FOXNews.com.

“It’s certainly has been described for people to live longer than a year — but this (Patrick Swayze's survival) is outside of the norm. Most people with metastatic pancreatic cancer will not live longer than a year,” he said.

  5. IT WAS A MIRACLE of God - the length of time He was permitted to live once the diagnosis was pronounced
