We had a pretty nice little snow last night - but as today wore on the temps rose to 32 degrees so the driveway mostly melted - but at 4:30 pm the Lord said "Go outside and shovel"
I went out through the garage - truly there was very little snow....I started near the house, went up by the street, and was back to the middle when a man with a shovel almost identical to my own came riding up the street and into my driveway on a BICYCLE. I smiled at him and said, "wow, I'm pretty much done - there wasn't much to begin with". He started talking and asked if he could clean my gutters (they still have leaves in them because a) I have no help and b) I have no ladder. I said that I was going to try to get my son to help me do it. As we were talking Jesus came up - he has been saved for 8 years - did time in prison - his wife (also saved) recently left him because a man who also had just been released from prison and saved only 8 months, told her that she was to leave her husband and spend time with God.
The Lord told me this was an error - so here's this brother - TODD - and he's alone, no car, no driver's license, out trying to make a living shoveling snow or doing odd jobs - and so I asked him how much he'd charge me to do the gutters and as he was looking at them the Lord said "Tell him you're My minister" - so I did. His eyes lit up and he was so blessed - he said "How about $20?" I said, "The Lord already told me to give you that but you don't have to earn it. Then we started praying for him and his wife - MICHELLE - in the middle of my driveway - his hands were lifted to heaven - and we were praying in the Spirit and I prophesied to Him the Lord's words of love....it was phenomenal. He started shoveling the street - and I went inside and the Lord told me to give him much more than $20 - I came out and told him he didn't have to earn God's provision....and the Lord had me tell him to sit at the Lord's feet and worship (he doesn't have a radio or cds or anything) - but said the Lord gives him songs so the Lord told me to tell him to sing them - and also instead of study study study, to instead sit at the Lord's feet and listen to Him speak -
While he was shoveling he said "You've had a very hard life - lots of trials - but that's why you can hear the Lord so well and help people - your spirit is very very sweet and loving...."
And then he came to me and shook my hand - I gave him the Lord's financial blessing and his mouth dropped open and his eyes grew big (VERY child-like) -
As he was riding away he asked if he could visit me from time to time - I told him only as he felt led from the Lord.
PLEASE PRAY FOR TODD AND MICHELLE - OUR FAMILY IN CHRIST - THAT THE LORD WOULD REUNITE THEM (THEIR SEPARATING WAS DECEPTION AND THE DEVIL) - THEY THEY WOULD HAVE VICTORY OVER REBELLION, SUBSTANCE ABUSE, TOBACCO, THE FLESH - CANCELING ALL ASSIGNMENTS OF THE ENEMY - LIFTING THE VEIL FROM THEIR WORLDLY EYES THAT THEIR SPIRITUAL EYES WILL BE OPEN - ALSO i COME AGAINST THE DEAF AND DUMB SPIRIT, THE SPIRIT OF PERVERSION, THE SPIRIT OF ANTI-CHRIST IN JESUS' NAME FOR YOUR GLORY LORD
The Lord truly loves this brother named Todd -
What a lovely way for the Lord to minister - oh I wait for these moments - wow -
