To love Jesus means to die to self - dying to self is THE ONLY WAY into His presence. No flesh can abide in His glory....
Why oh why won't those who claim to belong to Jesus LISTEN TO THE TRUTH? CHRISTMAS IS NOT BIBLICAL! CHRISTMAS IS PAGAN! What, is it because His name is in the title? ("CHRIST"-mas?) If that were the biggest hindrance, you seriously won't like it that antichrist is also not of Christ! ("christ" is in that title as well)....
LET IT GO! The world has been led astray - pretending that christmas - december 25th is Jesus' birthday or anything remotely ordained of God for celebrating Him. DO YOU NOT CELEBRATE HIM 24/7, 365 days per year?!?! And yes He came in the flesh for mankind's sake, but He ALWAYS WAS. Before the foundations of the world, God the Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit were ALL PRESENT! So technically it's not even His BIRTHDAY - because while He was born of a virgin it was a supernatural experience bringing forth One who ALWAYS WAS!
Every single thing encompassed by this pagan ritual is FALSE! From the trees to decorating to gift-giving - have you ever looked it up? IT HAS NOT BEEN AROUND SINCE THE TIME OF CHRIST! EVERY SINGLE THING the Lord asks of us is already IN HIS WORD - for HIS WORD IS HIM~ therefore, do you not think that a Holy Sovereign Omniscient God would have SAID "CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY" if it were meant to be so?
But it is NOT! This is not anti-God - it is PRO-TRUTH!
Each and every time a believer acts according to the ways of the world it is GROSS COMPROMISE! How are you to be trusted to represent Jesus when you are participating in pagan rituals?!?!?! A house divided cannot stand! You cannot do pagan things then do holy things - it just doesn't work that way!
Jesus NEVER ONCE compromised to draw people unto Himself. He hung out with the worst of the worst but He didn't BECOME THEM - no! It was HIS HOLINESS that drew them and CHANGED THEM!
WOE WOE WOE unto those who defend this day! For truly you are doing this for YOU - making up excuses and reasons WHY you don't give it up! The Lord admonishes you "THERE IS A WAY THAT SEEMETH RIGHT UNTO A MAN BUT THE END THEREOF ARE THE WAYS OF DEATH! (PROVERBS 14:12 KJV) -

How are you going to STAND BEFORE HIS JUDGMENT THRONE and explain your deeds? "Well, Lord, it was your birthday - I was celebrating YOU - the decorating, the trees, the gift giving, the parties - it's because of YOU!" and He will reply, "DEPART FROM ME I NEVER KNEW YOU" - - - because if you really and truly KNEW HIM you would know what an offense these pagan celebrations are! (and not just christmas folks, but easter is pagan also!) - - -

A great sorrow for me are two members of my family - pretending to know Him but doing what they want when they want and ignoring truth. My mother and sister found a way to sneak the holiday in by going to my daughter's house - when leaving, my mother said to my son, "I wonder if your mother would like Christmas if her dad was still alive - he loved Christmas".
WHAT?!?!?!
How can I LOVE SOMETHING THAT IS PAGAN! There is NO EXCUSE for participating in something that is anti-Christ! HOW CAN I POSSIBLY LOVE SOMETHING THAT OFFENDS MY LORD??? Would I love it if my beloved earthly dad were still living? NO! I would tell him what the Lord has me telling all: that Christmas is pagan and does NOT HONOR GOD IN ANY WAY! Which is TRULY ironic that my dad loved Christmas because my dad was born a JEW!
If you love Jesus - do things His way. ALL THINGS - not just something here and something there. And just because churches the world over are also celebrating this pagan holiday it does NOT MAKE IT RIGHT OR HOLY! People, only about 2 percent of all professing Christians are really TRUE CHRISTIANS! The Lord said MANY are called but FEW ARE CHOSEN! And NARROW IS THE WAY - in 25 years I have yet to meet hardly ANY who are truly HIS and walking 100 percent non-compromising, dead-to-self/world/flesh lives!
