The LORD is perfect. He is
just....so....perfect. Coming home on the train, as He spoke through me
to encourage Reggie, who was racially profiled and inappropriately
treated because of his race; the Lord spoke to him of the little girl that
i was - Jewish - being persecuted by all our neighbors, not being
allowed to walk on their sidewalks, go into their houses, even walk on
their lawns or play with their children...because (even at age 5) i was
accused of "killing their Jesus"....
And this early morning (up all night reading, catching up on this weeks bible readings)....reading Zephaniah 3:19-20:
19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will
save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will
get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to
shame.
20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time
that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all
people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes,
saith the Lord.
There are not enough words to speak of how i
was tormented as a child for being Jewish - so much so that i became
ashamed....i am humbled and honored that the LORD PURSUED ME - He
literally CHASED ME DOWN and apprehended me - because He knew who i was
and who He called and destined for me to be - so much so that i am still
undone by His love and His words for me to encourage and strengthen me -
He is always in the midst of thee - always....
Trust Him.
