HONOR GOD AND STAND WITH HIM FOR ISRAEL

On the eve of Hanukkah President Obama stabbed Israel in the back by abstaining to vote FOR THEM in the UN.

In Genesis 12:2-3 God is speaking to Abraham regarding Israel: "And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed."

In my 33 years sitting at the feet of Jesus, He has said that the USA was created to be a friend to God and to Israel. It is unthinkable that outside governments would be permitted to take away portions of America - why then should/would Israel be forced to do that very thing with THEIR nation?

Almighty God refers to Israel as He does to no other land on Earth. He proclaims, "It (Israel) is Mine."

This is NOT ABOUT POLITICS. this is about the WORD OF GOD. AND, the admonition to FEAR THE LORD is always the same. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would defy God? And at what cost? AND - when a nation's leader defies God, it is then the CITIZENS who pay the price/consequences!

If you are a TRUE follower of Jesus the Christ then take a stand WITH AND FOR HIM on behalf of Israel. It is the land of Father God and His Messiah.

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee." ~Psalm 122:6 (and please know that TRUE PROSPERITY is security in the love of Christ).

HONOR your Heavenly Father - be passionate about only things that He is passionate about. He deserves our/your loyalty.

NO MATTER WHO IS PRESIDENT, JESUS IS KING!

I am deeply saddened that people are forgetting about who the true "ruler" of America is - GOD. When did people lose the ability to trust that HE is in control of all things - NO MATTER WHAT. As a person of FAITH, I believe that God sits upon His throne and loves us - is FOR US - and will keep us in the palm of His hand (where He has always kept us)....just sayin'....."Love the Lord thy God - and - love one another as I have loved you."

WHEN YOUR MOUTH GETS YOU IN TROUBLE....

Those who have been following this ministry for a long time know that there are core things that the Lord has spoken forth - HIS TRUTHS - that must be heeded at all times.  One of them is: speak only that which you hear the Lord speaking.  WHY? Because that is WHAT JESUS DID - He spoke (nor did) NOTHING in and of Himself - and proclaimed time after time that He spoke THAT WHICH HE HEARD THE FATHER SPEAKING; and that THE FATHER SPOKE THROUGH HIM.

THAT SAID:

Today a famous prophet got himself into "trouble".  At a meeting he told people "I believe the Cleveland Indians will win the World Series".  Some people took that as God saying so, and went out and BET MONEY thinking that this was a prophetic word.

TODAY that famous prophet put a live feed online and rebuked the men who said he said this, telling everyone that these men "are going to hell". He also tried to justify what he said by saying, "I was just joking around" - and - "I never said 'thus saith the Lord' - it was MY IDEA - my OWN PERSONAL OPINION".

Um....seriously?!?!

FIRST OF ALL:  in and of ourselves we are NOTHING.  If we are in a position of authority given by the Lord Himself, we are to SPEAK NOTHING that HE DIDN'T GIVE US TO SPEAK.  There is NOTHING in the Word of God that says we are even allowed to have our own personal opinions (else why would He command us to DIE TO SELF SO THAT IT IS CHRIST THROUGH US)?  The prophet should never ever have said (especially in a prayer/evangelical/preaching setting) ANYTHING of self, of his own opinion, of his own flesh.

SECOND OF ALL:  "joking around" - truly the Lord has to have a sense of humor. but again, when we are in a position of authority and LIVES ARE AT STAKE - and we are SENT BY GOD with HIS MESSAGE FOR THE LOSS ("Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel...") - joking really has no place.  ALSO having no place is anything having to do with worldly things.  I can say the Lord tells us things about worldly events/happenings all the time - that doesn't mean He is telling us to preach it on the rooftops (or social media, or in a church pulpit....).

THIRDLY:  i have never ever heard of the Lord condemning someone to HELL for misquoting anyone, for using a famous person's name without permission (the prophet said these guys who falsely quoted him were 'nobodies' without fame of their own, using his name to gain their own notoriety.  He went on to say he didn't know them like that.  When you are in the public eye, and with all the ways you are now recorded for the world to see and hear (instagram, youtube, via cell phone videos, etc)...you cannot really expect that people won't be talking about the things that YOU talk about.  If they get it wrong that is not worthy of damnation - truly saying that GOD said the Cleveland Indians would win was a misspeak and the Lord has not shared with me the man's true heart/motives; but he can repent and publicly ask for forgiveness.  Preachers and prophets do a lot worse every single day than say God said a thing...every single "sermon" is under the guise of GOD speaking - so wouldn't that be something if EVERYONE who ever misspoke in the name of Jesus went to hell?  I understand - truly - but ALL OF THIS COMES BACK TO THE MAIN POINT AT HAND:

just DON'T SPEAK FORTH ANYTHING THAT GOD DIDN'T GIVE YOU TO SPEAK.

How difficult is that?

I have YET (after 32 years) met ANY ONE who NEVER EVER spoke ONLY GOD'S words.

Considering that Jesus Himself only did that, and that He is our model, He is the one who died so we could live, He is the one who said "NOT I BUT THE FATHER..." so that we can say "NOT I BUT CHRIST...."

I pray this will be a lesson for many....or even one.

Exactly WHO are YOU leading???

The Lord has talked to me for a long long time about social media - how, if He were to permit me on these things (Facebook (well actually Myspace first), Twitter, Instagram) it would have to be about Him and only Him. There was never any desire on my part to have it be about ME anyway - i am led to live my life for the Glory of God. It is unpopular, it is unwanted. It causes people to shake their heads, roll their eyes, and stop being associated with me.

Which leads to the thing The Lord asked me to talk about here today: "followers". All of the aforementioned social media outlets all use "followers" as a way to connect with another human being. Let's say you want to have an account - you would then need "followers". The dictionary defines "follower" as: "an adherent or devotee of a particular person, cause, or activity".

As a follower of Jesus Christ the ONLY person i desire people to follow after is HIM. i have ALWAYS been against the term "followers" and have never ever sought them out in any social media setting (probably why there are only 7 "followers" here on Facebook, 51 on Twitter, and 14 on Instagram. There is nothing about me that is eternal (except my spirit and that is only because of the grace of God and His death on the cross on my behalf). I would never ever post things about my family, or vacations, or personal interests (as i have surrendered all and continue to surrender all daily!). Those things do not lead people to Christ Jesus and also do not have eternal value to the human soul.

The biggest reason The Lord asked me to mention "followers" is because He then said, "If people were to take the time to truly think about it, if one has followers then the one WITH the followers should be qualified to LEAD." As believers in Jesus on social media - His question to you then becomes, "What are you leading people TO?" Are you leading people to your personal life? your family? your adventures? your thoughts and opinions? your own definitions of the scriptures and what YOU think God wants you to do?

He asked me to ask you to think on these things - and, in that none of us can do not one single thing without Him, ask Him to make your motives pure - and as we die to self daily (and until His return) ask Him to crucify your self-life and determine to make all that you do (in any arena) about Him, about sharing His gospel, about showing people the only way to eternity.

IS THIS YOUR HEART'S CRY???

TRUTH TALK: OK. Enough judgment already. It is HOLY SPIRIT who woos us to Himself in the first place. HE is the one who decides who He wants us to be...that which the Father ordains for our lives. It is NOT SELF-EFFORT - you cannot change ONE THING about who your are at your core being - only HE can mold us and shape us. OUR PART is to answer His call...EVERY HUMAN BEING can ONLY be that which Christ makes of us! We ALL have to stand before His throne of grace and cry out from our heart, "LORD remove anything from me that separates me from You." Only THIS should be the heart cry of ALL beings. YOU have NO IDEA who is His and who is not. You have NO IDEA the heart-conversations any given person has had with our Father. True, we are to "judge them by their fruit". Well, maybe their fruit is tarnished - maybe they've strayed. In 32 years i've never met one perfect believer. NOT ONE. If i WERE to judge according to all that i've learned in those years, no one even comes close. It is HIM THROUGH US - HE is the perfection. That display of Christ THROUGH us only manifests outwardly from us only to the extent that we have surrendered to Him. SO....get a grip, get a clue. LOVE ONE ANOTHER - LOVE THOSE EVEN UNLIKE YOURSELF! TRULY people will ONLY know that YOU are HIS if you walk in love ALL the time towards all human beings and NOT just towards those you know or who you think may be like you.
